Feature of LIU Turntable:

Forbidden City- Liu is a Beijing fashioned, more cost effective version of the award winning Droplet LP5.0 turntable, equipped with our own designed tone-arm ST100.

The turntable inherited the precision stainless steel bearing, AC motor drive system and concept of sandwich structure subchassis from Droplet LP5.0 turntable, with a one-piece machined black acrylic platter and well designed subchassis which features through the use of graphite in a cost effective way, to give real value for the dollar.

Actually the turntable is skillfully achieved the host of viberation absorbing through double layers graphite spindle holder working as a sandwich hard damping system, which has also been applied to ST100 tonearms spindle fixing as well, the melding thick aluminum plate are floated by graphite rings and giving this turntable exceptional stability and dissipates unwanted vibrations away.

This turntable comes with a AC motor in its own separate chassis independent from the sub chassis, and the whole system sits on 3 stainless steel adjustable balancing feet to ensure the deck is precisely level.

Stainless steel bearing, watch grade precision ( ± 0.1mm ) and finish.

it's a floatation bearing design that suspends the platter on a high rigidity industria ceramic ball bearing and a high rigidity industria ceramic cushion to reduce friction.
